One of those weeks...

There are 52 weeks in a year. Do you think you can have 52 memorable weeks? Maybe that is the reason why people write blogs and dairies, to record what is worth to remember later.

This week was important for me, because it has been one of those weeks that the universe seems to align to help me realize some new things at professional, family and spiritual level.

The power of expressing out loud what are my beliefs.  Regardless of the fact that my audience's interest was to convert me to Christianity and enroll in their church.  I just realized that for Christians that never let go an opportunity to "share the gospel" it is a powerful mind and well being practice,  Say what you think, feel or believe. That is the key.  It doesn't matter what is the speech, it could be as vain as "I like bananas with Ice cream, you need to try them, they are delicious",  the effect on is like dopamine because sharing what is in your mind is a liberating experience.

What did I told them about my beliefs?...
- My spiritual connection is with God, not thru a church, not thru books, but between my soul and God.  And for me God is an enigma, I am not sure it exists as a being or single entity, or more likely an energy or primary matter that is everywhere and connect us all living beings.
- Christ was a human that did extraordinary things and was an example, as many other men have been throughout history.
- The bible is a collection of books that explained thru stories how to coexist in society. Of course, if you have a problem and you read the bible you might find the message you needed, because you will associated with the problem you are facing, however I do not think it is a holy book.
- Belonging to a religion or church is not important for me. What matters to me is the decisions I make every day on how to threat others, how to face problems, how to deal with emotions, and whether I thrive for being a better person or not.

I hadn't had this conversation in a while with anyone other than close friends and family. It was interesting (awkward) but in the end this experience reminded me to invest more time every day to connect with my soul and God.
